Sickflicks.com originally premiered on 4/20/99, Intended as an online portfolio for L.A. Photographer Touch, it quickly took shape as a portal into a lifestyle. We covered every event big & small, from hip-hop shows to backyard bbq's, we had Los Angeles in a scope! Touch had flicks that faithful West Coast hip-hop fans were dying to see. Sickflicks.com hadn't only caught the attention of hip-hop fans across the globe, but the performers themselves were tuning in to check out coverage from their own events. Hits poured in from the four corners & helped pioneer a new type of dotcom. "We didn't do it for a living, we did it for a lifestyle" says Touch. The site ran for about 3 years before the lifestyle we were trying to capture, captured us. A lack of updates, lead to a lack of interest & the site was eventually taken down. Sickflicks.com was followed up by a growing number of personal websites, myspaces, & all those others we can’t live without. The decision to bring Sick Flicks back was not an easy one, but I must say it was inspired by a new generation. We threw the OG on there as a reminder to those who were around, & for those who don't know...we are the original!

FREE SLY VICIOUS

I had the pleasure of working with Sly a few months before he got busted, very humble, good dude. I heard there is a fund raiser in the works for legal fees and what not, I'll get the details and pass it along. FREE SLY!

YES, IT'S TRUE...

I'LL BE RELEASING A STREET CD ON ILL ROC RECORDS IN 2010. CHECK OUT THE PRESS RELEASE BELOW:

A man of many hats, most of them fitted Los Angeles Veteran OG Touch is no stranger to the rap game. Over the past 10 years Touch has played a crucial role in helping manage several artists from the point of conception to photographing their final album covers. It was actually because of photography that Touch & New York Hard Core Legend Lord Ezec came to forge a friendship, based on brotherhood, business, & good fortune. "I photographed Ezec, Necro, & Grizz from Ruff Ryders @ The House of Blues in Hollywood one night, the following day I received 2 phone calls...one from Ezec's manager D110 & one from Grizz RR, the following week I was on a plane to New York...things have been poppin ever since!" Having spent nearly a decade in numerous recording studios the progression to recording his own album was inevitable. Touch's debut album will be released on Ill Roc Records in late 2010 and will feature many of the artists that Touch has worked with over the years. Currently featured on Mic MC's "On Campus" Album and "Danny Diablo vs The Vendetta" Touch has proven to be a true triple threat. Influenced by such artist as The Psycho Realm & Too $hort, Touch is sure to deliver that Sick Side style with some ground shaking 808. Stay tuned....
